A military bunker located near Bergen, Norway, situated in a commanding position above the Skagerrak Straits. Movik Fort was originally constructed during World War II by German forces as part of the Atlantic Wall defensive system. The site once housed the second largest cannon in the world at the time - a massive Krupp 380mm artillery piece with a range of up to 55 kilometers (35 miles) and weighing 337 tonnes.
This formidable coastal defense installation played a strategic role in controlling access to the Norwegian coastline during the German occupation.
