28/02/1997 A 2 x 4 gun emergency coastal battery site, with the main buildings still in fair condition. There are two entrances; the lower is at sea/railway line level and gives access to the lower gun and searchlight; the higher is off the main Teignmouth Road through gate pillars with the old house name of Lea Mount.
