07/06/1992 Small gun emplacement with domed rusty metal roof. (Similar in style to, but not, an Allan Williams turret, one of three along this coast and part of RAF Crail defences). This structure has been moved from its original site on the Golf Links. It has been broken up and dumped on the beach.

Two-man coastal observation post constructed of concrete with domed sheet iron roof. Concrete slit seaward and hinged steel door to landward. Generally in poor condition. P Yeoman 1992. NO 6300 1062. A WW2 steel pillbox/watch post situated on the beach near to the coastal path. The steel structure has been moved from its original site on the golf links.

It has been broken up and dumped on the beach. J Guy 1994; NMRS MS 810/3
