01/06/1941 Lines of anti-tank cubes, making right-angled corners, defending E approaches to Cripps Corner indicated in part on German map of British defences, 1. 6. 41 - in the earlier edition of 20. 11. 40 the anti-tank obstacle is shown as a ditch, but this appears to have been incorrect).
12/12/2003 Line of 5ft high anti-tank cubes (of the standard Cripps Corner type) observed at TQ 78212113. 25/05/1975 Approx. 300 massive anti-tank blocks (cubes) running in a zigzag line from the NW to the SE of this area. (shown on plan drawn by A. M. & J. Gerken). 12/02/2004 Two three-quarters buried blocks stand close to the roadside at TQ 7807021062.
At TQ 7820221473 the footpath passes between two blocks where the line turns to run west to the B2165 road. The line stops just short of the road at TQ 7807621477. The lines of blocks are so overgrown they now form hedgerows with the concrete only visible at close quarters.
