Description

A military bunker located in northern Italy, part of the Alpine Wall (Vallo Alpino) defensive system constructed under Benito Mussolini's regime in the years leading up to World War II. This fortified structure was designed to defend Italy's northern frontier against potential threats from France, Switzerland, Austria, and Yugoslavia. The Alpine Wall stretched approximately 1,851 km along Italy's mountainous northern border and was manned by the Guardia alla Frontiera (Ga F), special Italian border troops.

These bunkers formed part of a comprehensive network of fortifications that included artillery positions, observation posts, and underground shelters integrated into the challenging Alpine terrain.
