14/11/1941 Pillbox with 1ft 3ins walls. Serial no. S. 101. Cassini ref. 321591. It appears to be destroyed. 12/06/2002 No sign of this pillbox. Almost certainly destroyed. 17/04/1945 Hexagonal pillbox plotted from aerial photograph - probably a type 27: it faced N. (River has been given an artificial course here, and the pillbox was probably destroyed during these works (before 1961) ).
