Description

03/01/1999 Nine concrete anti tank cylinders by verge of road. In 1940 River Severn was a designated Western Command Stop line. It is not clear if cylinders are in their approximate original position as part of a roadblock to approaches from the SW to river, or have been removed from position by bridge which was certain to have had some form of obstacles (the old bridge was replaced in 1994).
