Description

This research is automated and may contain errors.

30/06/1999 Anti-tank wall two thirds of which is still intact, one part removed to allow beach access. It is constructed from small concrete blocks and extant part measures about 16yds in length and varies in height from 8ft to 5ft. It is stepped in height due to slope of beach.

The foundation of the wall which has been demolished can still be seen. Channels were left at ground level in original wall to allow water (stream) to pass under it out to sea. The original wall was about 30yds long and would have closed off access or egress to beach completely.

The top of the wall has been concreted over in a slight dome shape.
