A spectacular example of our military architecture, very well preserved and surprisingly clean inside. It's advisable to bring a flashlight because otherwise you might get disoriented in the tunnels (some are very dark). If you're using Google Maps, at one point it will direct you through the olive grove and across the open countryside. Ignore it; continue along the path for about 200 meters and you'll find the sign (see photo 1).

It's amazing to find this in the middle of nowhere. The scenery is beautiful; I didn't go inside because it made me a little nervous, but you can walk underneath the bunkers from one side to the other. It's easy to imagine battles there, as the place has an air of mystery. It's very interesting if you're interested in military history.

The downside is that it's poorly signposted, and at least for us, cell service was poor; we drove around quite a bit before finding it. Once there, there are also few explanations; it could be better maintained and explained. Despite this, it's an interesting set of bunkers, at least for people interested in the Spanish Civil War or military history in general.
