A World War II German coastal artillery battery located near Longues-sur-Mer, Normandy, France. The battery, designated as Marineküstenbatterie (MKB) Longues-sur-Mer and also known as Widerstandsnest (Wn) 48, was constructed as part of the Atlantic Wall defensive system. Situated on a 60-meter cliff overlooking the Baie de Seine, the battery formed a crucial component of Germany's coastal defense network during the war.
