14/03/1998 Large concrete block placed across path over the bridge, plus vertical steel rail (ex-rail line). Parapet also removed (in war). 19/05/14 The cube was removed, to allow passage by wheelchairs, in 1989 when the bridge was refurbished by the canal society.
