La Coupole, also known as the Coupole d'Helfaut-Wizernes, is a massive Second World War bunker complex located in the Pas-de-Calais department of northern France. Originally codenamed Bauvorhaben 21 or Schotterwerk Nordwest, this German-built facility was intended as a launch site for V-2 rockets targeting London and southern England. The complex features a distinctive concrete dome structure and extensive underground facilities, representing one of the most ambitious military construction projects of the war in occupied France.
