Bunker-42, also known as the Tagansky Protected Command Point, is a former Soviet secret military facility located in downtown Moscow, Russia. Built in the 1950s during the Cold War era, this underground bunker was designed to withstand a nuclear attack and serve as a command center for Soviet leadership. The facility extends 65 meters below ground and spans an area of approximately 7,000 square meters, featuring reinforced concrete walls and self-contained life support systems.
