By: kjfitz. Read more... At Lorient, prior to the construction of the three Keroman Bunkers, there were two Dom Bunkers, so called because of their Cathedral like shape. These were known as the East and West Dom Bunkers, and were 81 metres long by 16 metres wide and 25 metres high, each of these could shelter one U-Boat.
