The Raven Rock Mountain Complex, also known as Site R, is a U.S. military installation with an extensive underground nuclear bunker located near Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania. This facility has been referred to as an "underground Pentagon" due to its role as a secure command and control center. The complex contains emergency operations centers for the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, designed to maintain government continuity in the event of a nuclear attack or other catastrophic events.
