A large Soviet-style bunker complex located near Managua, Cuba. The site is historically significant as a storage location for Soviet nuclear warheads during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, a fact the CIA failed to identify from aerial photographs at the time. The complex consists of six large, interconnected arched-roof bunkers and has been under continuous construction since at least October 1982, serving as a major military command and control facility.
