Movik Fort is a historic German coastal fortification located near Narvik, Norway, overlooking the Skagerrak Straits. Originally constructed during World War II by the German Wehrmacht, the fort once housed the second largest cannon in the world—a massive Krupp 380mm gun with a range of up to 55 kilometers (35 miles) and weighing 337 tonnes. The site sits in a commanding position above the strategic waterway between Norway and Denmark, reflecting its importance in German defensive strategy during the occupation period.
