The Līgatne Soviet Bunker, located near the town of Līgatne in Latvia, is a former top-secret military facility constructed during the Cold War era. Built approximately 9 meters underground, this bunker was designed to serve as a secure shelter for Latvia's Communist Party elite in the event of a nuclear conflict. The facility remained classified for decades, with even employees of the adjacent rehabilitation center unaware of its existence for over 30 years.
