This research is automated and may contain errors.

1997 Coastal battery used in the defence of Scapa Flow in both world wars. Consisted of a 6 ins and 12 pound Battery in WW1, with two twin 6 ins batteries being constructed during WW2. The 6 ins batteries are now mostly destroyed by a quarry. The battery was placed on a care and maintenance basis in 1945.
