New Radio Site with four towers (June 2008)

On June 1st, 2008 we discovered this new radio site on a hill north of Area 51. The new site has four towers arranged in a straight line, each with a small dome on top. The site is directly in line with the north end of Runway 32(R). The towers are arranged perpendicular to the extended runway. Similar sites can be found in locations associated with UAVs such as Creech AFB. We believe the site here and a similar site just east of Hangar 19 that was installed around the same time are connected to a UAV project at Area 51 that began around 2008.
