01/02/1996 Type 22 pillbox, situated on foreshore. Set in sea defence embankment S of car park. Entrance is at rear and there are 6 embrasures. Construction is of concrete and breeze blocks. The interior has central supporting pillar and there is evidence of concrete sills, one of which is still in place.
