The Līgatne Soviet Bunker is a former top-secret military facility located near Līgatne, Latvia. Constructed approximately 9 meters underground, this bunker was designed as a nuclear fallout shelter for Latvia's Communist Party elite during the Cold War era. The facility remained classified for decades, with even employees at the adjacent rehabilitation center unaware of its existence for 30 years after construction.
