1993 Coastal gun battery built adjacent to a broch (Scottish NMR ND49NE 2). Consisted of one twin 6 pounder, but by July 1940 was increased to two 6 pounder guns. The guns were removed in 1943. The associated buildings survive, but not in the usual layout.
