The Greenbrier Bunker, also known as Project Greek Island, is a decommissioned United States government continuity program located at the Greenbrier hotel in West Virginia. The facility was constructed during the Cold War era to house Congress in the event of a nuclear war. It was exposed by The Washington Post in 1992 and subsequently decommissioned.
Today, the bunker is open to the public for tours, offering a unique glimpse into Cold War history and government preparations for nuclear conflict.
