Maybach I was a major German military command bunker complex located near Zossen, Brandenburg, constructed in 1939 as part of the Wehrmacht's strategic headquarters. The facility consisted of above-ground structures designed to resemble civilian housing from aerial reconnaissance, concealing a vast underground network of communication and command bunkers. It served as the primary communications center for the Oberkommando des Heeres (OKH) during World War II, coordinating military operations across multiple fronts.
The complex was connected to the nearby Zeppelin bunker (RANET) and played a crucial role in the German war effort until its capture by Soviet forces in 1945.
