Description

A former United States government continuity facility located beneath the Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The bunker was part of Project Greek Island, a Cold War-era program designed to house members of Congress in the event of a nuclear attack. It remained secret for over three decades until its exposure by The Washington Post in 1992.
