Movik Fort is a historic German coastal fortification located near the Skagerrak Straits in Norway, constructed during the Nazi occupation of the country in World War II. Built as part of the Atlantic Wall defensive system, the fort once housed the second largest cannon in the world—a massive Krupp 380mm gun with a range of up to 55 kilometers and weighing 337 tonnes. The fortification sits in a commanding position overlooking the strategic waterway between Norway and Denmark, serving as a key defensive installation during the German occupation from 1940 to 1945.
