The REGAN Vest bunker is a former top-secret Danish military facility located near Rold Skov in Jutland, Denmark. Built during the Cold War as a nuclear-proof command center, it was designed to house Danish government and military leadership in the event of a nuclear attack. The bunker remained classified and operational until the early 1990s, serving as a critical component of Denmark's civil defense strategy during the tense East-West standoff.
Today, it has been transformed into a museum offering visitors a unique glimpse into Cold War-era military architecture and the pervasive atmosphere of nuclear anxiety that defined the period.
