Bunkerinfo

The last bunker built in this city is located on the Morsweg in Leiden. This is a large scale type 616. This telephone bunker was attempted to be cleared in 1984, but the bunker won and has been in a state of disrepair ever since. However, little of this can be seen because the bunker has been completely swallowed up by ivy plants. Fortunately, time has changed because the bunker has been on the municipality's monument list since March 2014. The bunker belonged to the free coast between Katwijk and Scheveningen and fell under construction number 207. The construction number of the bunker can no longer be traced, but it probably started with 72. For camouflage, the Germans built a half-brick wall around the bunker, part of which can still be seen today.
