17/01/1999 Pillbox. Constructed with sandbags by the local Home Guard. It was square in plan with embrasures in each face. The structure was roofed with logs and waterproofed with a tarpaulin. The pillbox was demolished long ago (according to recorder) and the crossroad reformed so that even the site no longer exists.
