1977 Breech-loading casemates by Shornemead Fort. 05/2000 Coastal battery. Very badly derelict. Almost skeletal structure with some external features (?) (information from 1979 aerial photographs). 28/7/15 previous descriptions relate to Shornmead Fort but this battery was positioned slightly to the east of the fort and is visible on a 1952 Bf A AP EAW045337. Location adjusted. Status updated.
