Bunker-42 is a former Soviet military command bunker located in downtown Moscow, Russia. Built during the Cold War era as a hardened underground facility, it was designed to serve as a protected command center in the event of a nuclear attack. The bunker was used for its intended military purpose until 1986, during which time it served as a command post for bombers carrying nuclear weapons.

In 2006, the site was repurposed and opened to the public as a museum and restaurant, offering visitors a glimpse into the secretive world of Soviet military preparedness. The facility's Dr. Strangelove-esque atmosphere and historical significance make it a unique destination for those interested in Cold War history and military architecture.
