A military bunker located near Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, in the Dolomite Alps region. This area saw significant military activity during World War II, particularly during the Italian Campaign when Allied forces advanced through Italy after the Sicily landings in July 1943. The Dolomite mountain range formed a natural defensive barrier that was fortified by both Italian and German forces during the conflict.
