A military bunker located in northern Italy, part of the Alpine Wall (Vallo Alpino) defensive system constructed under Benito Mussolini's regime in the years leading up to World War II. This fortified structure was designed to defend Italy's northern frontier against potential threats from France, Switzerland, Austria, and Yugoslavia. The Alpine Wall represented one of Italy's most ambitious military engineering projects of the interwar period, featuring a network of fortifications, artillery positions, and underground facilities along the 1,851 km of Italy's mountainous northern border.
