A military bunker located near Nancy, France, built as part of the Force de dissuasion, France's nuclear deterrence force. The Force de dissuasion was formulated immediately after the Second World War and comprised a triad of air-, sea- and land-based nuclear weapons intended for deterrence. The Vf Leitstand is one of several bunkers constructed as part of this force, which was intended to provide a secure location for the French military to launch a nuclear strike.
The bunker's exact location and current state are unclear, but it is believed to be part of a larger network of underground facilities in the region.
