Description

A military bunker located near Hirtshals, Denmark, built during World War II as part of the German Atlantic Wall fortifications. This concrete structure is one of thousands constructed along the Danish coastline between 1940 and 1945 to defend against potential Allied invasion. The bunker represents the extensive military infrastructure developed during the five-year German occupation of Denmark, which saw the construction of approximately 7,500 bunkers across the country - the largest construction project in Danish history.

These fortifications stretched along the entire Danish coastline as part of Hitler's defensive Atlantic Wall system, which extended from the Spanish-French border to northern Norway.
