A former United States government continuity program located at the Greenbrier hotel in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Known as Project Greek Island (previously code-named "Project Casper"), the facility was designed to house members of Congress in the event of a nuclear attack. The bunker remained a closely guarded secret for over three decades until its exposure by The Washington Post in 1992, after which it was decommissioned and opened to public tours.
