Description

This research is automated and may contain errors.

A World War II bunker located in Heist, Belgium, part of the coastal fortifications built by the German army during the occupation. This structure was recently discovered during routine park maintenance and is now being restored as part of the LIFE DUNIAS project, which aims to rejuvenate the coastal dunes in Director-General Willemspark. The bunker is one of several fortifications that formed part of the Atlantic Wall defenses along the Belgian coast, serving as a reminder of the region's wartime history.
