A military bunker located near Katowice, Poland. During the Cold War, this region of southwestern Poland contained numerous Soviet military installations, including clandestine nuclear warhead storage facilities that were kept secret from the Polish population. The bunker is part of the extensive network of Soviet bases that remained in Poland following World War II as part of the Warsaw Pact defense system.
