A military bunker located in northern Italy, part of the extensive Alpine Wall (Vallo Alpino) defensive system built along Italy's northern frontier. Constructed under the direction of Benito Mussolini in the years leading up to World War II, the Alpine Wall fortifications were designed to protect against potential attacks from France, Switzerland, Austria, and Yugoslavia. This particular bunker would have been manned by the Guardia alla Frontiera (Ga F), the Italian special frontier troops responsible for defending these mountain fortifications.
