WN 521 Brocken is a World War II German defensive bunker located in northern France, part of the Atlantic Wall fortifications. This coastal defense position was designed to protect the French coastline from Allied invasion. The bunker's strategic location provided overwatch of the surrounding beaches and coastal approaches, typical of the extensive defensive network constructed by Nazi Germany along the Atlantic coast.
