1995 Pillbox and associated earthworks. The pillbox retains its camouflage of soil and vegetation and even portions of its timberwork. It has an additional firing loop on the side covering the bridge. Below, on the southern bank of the Cowie water, extensive earthworks have been formed, making the southern bank of the river a substantial obstacle. Information from Historic Scotland, scheduling document dated 28 August 1996. (Location cited as NO 763 872).
