1995 Triple row of concrete posts visible on 1946 RAF AP running E-W from SY 20678813 to SY 20788814. Block exit off beach at Branscombe. A single row of posts is marked on OS 6in (1963) map, which could indicate that some of these features survive. It is not clear from the AP whether these are posts for barbed wire or are in fact concrete anti-tank pimples.

Ted King, a former RAF pilot at RAF Exeter, recalls that there was barbed wire blocking the beach at Branscombe, but that RAF pilots were allowed through to bathe! 1995 Triple row of concrete posts visible on 1946 RAF AP running E-W from SY 20678813 to SY 20788814.
