Villa Ada Royal Bunker

A wartime bunker located in Villa Ada park, Rome, Italy, originally constructed as a secure underground shelter for Italy's former royal family, the House of Savoy. The structure, built during World War II, features a circular plan spanning over 200 square meters and includes seven rooms: two main rooms, two bathrooms, an antechamber, and two service rooms. After more than five years of closure, the historic bunker has reopened to the public, offering visitors insight into Italy's royal wartime heritage and the architectural features of 1940s military shelters.
