The Fordow Uranium Enrichment Plant, officially known as the Shahid Ali Mohammadi Nuclear Facility, is an underground nuclear facility located approximately 30 kilometres north of Qom, Iran. Situated at a former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps base, this fortified site is under the control of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization. The facility is notable for its deep underground construction, designed to withstand potential military strikes, including the use of specialized bunker-buster munitions.
