Description

This research is automated and may contain errors.

11/1999 Possible spigot mortar base. 2001 Probable spigot mortar pedestal, close to a pillbox (see UORN 7254). The steel spigot has been removed. A modern pipe line raised on concrete blocks passes close by. 19/05/2003 A possible pedestal of a spigot mortar emplacement, but hollow at the centre and without its steel spigot.

Another similar pedestal lies close to the W (UORN 16616). Site visit by Pillbox Study Group member Tim Holland shows this site has been misidentified and is a support for something. Status updated.
