08/08/1940 Pillbox (shown on German map of defences in East Kent). 14/10/2000 Pillbox, which was close to the sea end of the canal. Many years ago the canal wall at this point was rebuilt and the pillbox was destroyed, but the concrete rubble was left where it can be seen today amongst heavy undergrowth. 27/11/1940 Pillbox (Sector 4).
