Fort Canning Bunker

The Battlebox, also known as the Fort Canning Bunker, is a former World War II command centre located beneath Fort Canning Hill in Singapore. Constructed as an emergency, bomb-proof operations bunker, it served as the Headquarters Malaya Command Operations Centre during the Malayan Campaign and the Battle of Singapore.
