The Battlebox, also known as the Fort Canning Bunker, is a historic World War II command center located beneath Fort Canning Hill in Singapore. Constructed as an emergency, bomb-proof operations bunker, it served as the headquarters for the Malaya Command during the Malayan Campaign and the Battle of Singapore. This underground facility played a crucial role in the British military's defense strategy against Japanese forces in 1942.

Today, the Battlebox has been preserved as a museum and tourist attraction, offering visitors insight into Singapore's wartime history and the strategic decisions made within its walls during one of the most significant periods in the nation's past.
