Description

11/10/1999 Anti-tank wall made of concrete blocks with a centre infill of concrete. It measures 21yds in length and is built around a corner. It is 48ins in width at an average height of 4ft. The remains of metal stakes can be seen at 8ft intervals along the top of the wall, probably to secure barbed wire entanglements. The wall probably originally continued around the harbour but has been destroyed in new development.
